For Indigenous cultural information, consent and protocols are guided by the community sharing the information.

How We Use Information

We use information only for the purpose it was collected.
We do not sell personal information.
When we share information with trusted service providers, they are required to protect it.

Cultural information is never shared outside the context it was provided without community approval.

How We Protect Information

We use physical, technical, and organizational safeguards, including secure storage, role‑based access, and staff training.
Safeguards are matched to the sensitivity of the information and follow cultural protocols where applicable.

  • Withdrawal of your information

Indigenous individuals and communities may also request the return of cultural content.

We respond to requests within 30 business days unless legislation allows more time.

Retention

We keep information only as long as needed or as required by law.
When no longer needed, it is securely destroyed, anonymized, or returned following cultural protocols.

If a breach affects your information, we will notify you promptly, investigate, and take steps to prevent future incidents.
